to put between metal and wood you use black friction tape. Some auto parts stores carry it, MSC, Granger. There are two different widths. please don't use my low number of answers to judge me. I have a 1929 AA CCPU that is being completely restored by me.

you have a 1930 running boards splash aprons and cab with 28-29 6 spoke rims. wish I had some of the parts you have but I have a 1929 82-A stake bed good luck somebody will know.

Take the wheel bearing axle to a good weld shop they can weld in the pited area and grind it down. just my 2 cents. good luck

Thank you I have mine apart right now and mine seem in good shape and my truck has over 85,000 miles on it. I think mine have been changed.
