Watermelon,

The profile of the winner of your Warford parts on Ebay shows him from
Denmark, did you move LOL?
If you end up with any extra parts I need the mainshaft (output) for a
Warford and a rear u-joint for a 32-39 1 1/2 ton 1 3/8" 10 spline.

Dan,
Do you have a copy of "The Ford Model A Mail Truck" by Aldie Johnson?
The book has pictures or drawings of almost every part of the mail truck.
I think someone had some repro handles for sale at one time,Aldie would know. His address is Aldie Johnson, 22 Burlington Rd., Bedford, MA 01730.

Mike, I need a front U-joint like the one in your picture and I'll have to machine it to accept the bearing inner race. The rear one I need is just a '32-'38 needle bearing type similar to the front but the back splined part does not bolt on, it's all one piece.

Hi Mike,

The one in your post is the front one and it looks like I need one of those also. The rear one is 10 spline 1 3/8" on both ends and I think it is about an inch shorter as the back part is not bolted to the u-joint like the one in your post.

Bud, The input shaft on the Brownie is 1 3/8" 10 spline, same as the BB. There is a bearing in the input housing so the u-joint must have the inner bearing race on it. I have a BB Warford under drive that has the same setup but I don't have an input u-joint for either trans. The output u-joint is 1 ...

Here is the Brownie next to a Warford. Since the input shaft is 1 3/8" I think it was for a BB.

Neil,
Could you post pictures and dimensions of your wheel stops as I'm trying to come up with a spare tire carrier for my LWB. I have a carrier off of a '31
SWB, if I can fabricate some long hinges like in Erics picture will the SWB carrier work?

HKDude, The perch you have is the passanger car type used on the
'28-E29 and the spring is probably for a L29-'31. Does your frame have
holes for mounting front shocks?
