I have a handful of original nuts and lock washers for the truck bed. I went and bought new stainless nuts and new lock washers. I dissasembled 2 TT truck beds to get them, I used the bolts and the square washers for my truck bed.
Let me know if you want them, $10 for them all

Sounds like you have a short, if you have reproduction light sockets it is probably them. The springs and plungers that connect to the light bulb sometimes short against each other.
