Take the wire going to #1 plug and see if you get spark. If you do go to #2 and see if you got spark etc. If all cylinders have spark you my have a bad spark plug, to check that take plug out with the wire connected and see if you got spark 1,2,3,4. Try this and give us a up date what you find.

Welcome the the Forum, Mac's have the speedometer cable it is part number 28-25072-1 for the 28-29 @ 62.50. For mid 30-31 part number 28-25073-1 @ 41.25. So for your other question no they are not universal, the Model A's are different also because of the fact they are shorter in lenght.

If you have the emergency brake off and the truck out of gear the truck will free wheel were ever you push it. Mine rolled off the trailor that it was on when it came time to unload it. The wench that we use pulled on the trailor just fine. As for flat out towing that I really can't answer for a sho...

The one that has two balls goes on the drivers side and the one with one ball goes on the passenger side. There is a flat part of the spindle that is flat because it has to clear the I beam. Here is a pics of how the Drag link goes.
