Re: Vintage Manual Tire Changer!

Yes, it is. Billy is 77, he got it when he was a teenager, and it was an old machine then.
By all means, come on down! I'll stoke up the smoker, we'll have some bbq and beer!

Poking around in the dusty corners...
I just had to bring this one back into the light.

No CAD, no CNC, no alien technology, just good old fashioned engineering !

Could we be talking about a PTO to run a water pump, dump bed or wrecker sling?

Re: Putting Wire Spokes on the '28/'29

As a Chevy mechanic in the 80s, I always kept a variety of wine corks, golf tees, ball bearings and other miscellany in my tool box. A good Chevy mechanic always has a handful of parts left over, especially when working on a Ford!

She's a real beauty! You've definitely come to the right place. This forum is a great resource for advice, support, parts, just a great group of guys here. I, for one, really appreciate your stance on doing what it takes to conserve and preserve, rather than restore your truck. I like for mine to lo...

Is an interior mirror required so you can see the front of the box? How many people did you talk to? Almost every...
