Forum Software Upgraded!
I finally got around to working on the forum upgrade problems I had a while back. Basically had to create a 2nd database, install the forum software from scratch, re-apply all of the "mods" and then dump and insert the old database tables. Many of the tables had changed order and structure...

Forum Upgrade - Bug
I recently upgraded the forum software and all appeared to be well until Thursday morning after 8am. The problem has to do with the BBCodes available in a message, if you disable BBCodes in your message you can post with no errors. The default was to have the BBCodes enabled. For now I have disabled...

Thanks Mike I printed that off and will try it the next time. That sounds easy enough. I had copied the tag line and pasted that. Another forum I am on some that is the way I do it and the picture just shows up in the text where the tag is inserted. Seems each site is a little different and I'm no ...

Re: Try a picture
Hello REM, I edited your post to correct the URL. If you want to use photobucket that is fine but the easiest method would be to view your image on photobucket in your browser, then copy the URL, in this case... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v720/remmo/P9140001.jpg then post your topic and paste...

Re: New here and new AA owner
I was referred here by the guys over on the Fordbarn A forum. Hello Richard, welcome aboard! I'd try to post a picture but my pic's are on my computer at home. Is there anything I need to know about posting pics. Posting a picture is fairly simple. When you post a topic or reply to one there is an ...

Re: Bratton's to Snyder's to Mac's
Hi Folks - Has any one found any significant differences for truck parts from any of the above (or any other I don't know about)? I know the prices vary slightly among them. Do you think it's better to get everything from one source or switch around? That seems more complicated - keeping track of w...

Mike, The top rear of the cab definitely looks square to me. What should that tell me? I think I have to learn how to remove some rivets before I can get to that frame number. Any pointers for a novice on removing rivets? Thanks, Drew Hello Drew, you shouldn't need to drill out any rivets to lift t...

I moved this topic into the "Discussion Forum" since it has become more of that than a 4 sale post. The orignal topic in 4sale will redirect you to the discussion form topic.

Oh, one other thing. If there are any Model A clubs in your area you should hook up with them. Most if not all of the members would probably jump at the chance to help you out. I just looked on the MAFCA (Model A Ford Club of America) and see there are two chapters in MN. http://www.mafca.com/chapte...

AA Fords email list discontinued
Since there is virtually no traffic on the aa-fords email mailing list system I am going to discontinue it. Currently the only traffic on that list is spam and the forums seem to be the more convienent method to exchange AA information.
