Re: intermediate driveshaft comparison

Hi, I have these shafts and x-joints allotted for various projects at this time. I am just placing pictures of things that I have been confused on in the past in order to clarify things for others. I am also posting prices that I pay for things at swap meets so people get an idea of what they go fo...

Re: What is the curb weight of my new truck?

Hi, the " Model A/AA Ford Truck Owner" book says on page 66 that a closed cab stakebed truck with dual wheels weighs 3,837# with the racks. It will weigh less without the racks and with single rear wheels if you need to weigh it for licencing. I personally had one weighed last month witho...

Re: 134-B Grain Sides on Ebay

I don't understand why most AA Forum folks do not have names? I would not talk with anyone via email who would not tell me there name. So, what is the deal? I don't like to use my name on an open forum till I know who I'm dealing with, and now that I "know" you all, I can't seem to find a...

Re: FMAATC Membership Renewal Payments?

spectria, The URL you posted provides what the costs are and that sounds okay with a $10 renewal rather than $9. Maybe you, or someone would research installing a PayPay button into the club site (or at least provide URL's where the information exists). The club site is build via WordPress. Neil, I...

Re: Transmission Tower Locating Pin

My 1930 AA has a problem with the locating pin in the transmission tower. The hole is elongated so the pin is moving causing the gear lever to move about and making it very hard to shift. The slot or groove on the ball it mates with is not worn. Is there a way to oversize the locating pin hole, ins...

Re: FMAATC Membership Renewal Payments?

Does anyone have the time to check out and document the cost of having a PayPal account so that FMAATC members could make club renewal payments (currently $9US). If yes, please post the costs for everyone to see. I don't have the time to re-analyze this myself. As I recall, I checked into this (may...

Re: Dual high pedal

FYI - For both design 1 and 2 dual highs, the transmission shifter lever and the shifter pedal were a single eye design for the shifter rod which had a non-adjustable clevis at the front and an adjustable clevis at the rear. The pedal design had a circular pattern. Design 3 dual high started produc...
