Re: Is this cab really a 28?
I have attached a few photos of the original roof and a few my roof rebuild project in progress. I was able to locate a small piece of the original fabric, from what I can tell the material is very similar to the original Ford top material. I don't think there was any padding between the wood struct...

Re: Is this cab really a 28?
I am also working on an AA with a Brantford cab. I have a rough cab with a good portion of the original roof in place. I will take some photos and post them as soon as I can. I may have the brake parts you need as well.

Re: Is this cab really a 28?
This photos is of a Brantford cab. They came in a number of configurations, all were wood clad with tin. They were used mostly for the 28-29 AA trucks in Canada. It is difficult to find a good one due to all the wood, most don't even have enough for patterns. They were built by the Brantford Coach a...

Re: Trailer and tow vehicle to transport model AA?
I towed a '29 AA home from Morris Manitoba, about 1,350 km (800 miles) with a 2010 F150 4.6 liter and a 16' flat bed tandem axle trailer. It worked fine, 60 mph plus all the way.

Re: 1929 model AA universal joints
I have a 28 AA with the 3 speed and the dual high as well. The u joint between the transmission and the dual high is the same as the model A, The u joint between the dual high and the drive shaft is unique to the AA. It has, I believe 10 splines to the drive shaft, I had to look hard to find one tha...

Re: stakebed/flatbed strips
While scanning through e-bay I found these, I am not sure how authentic they are but if you have nothing to start with they may be better than nothing.
