Re: WANTED
Thanks for the reply. I have them as well and will be my last resort if I can't find a decent enough passenger side or even pieces.

BB Radiator
Question for all of you. Will a passenger car 32 Shell fit a BB 32 shell??? I know the shells were different between truck and car but what I am most concerned about is the water inlet neck position between the two.

Re: eBay item 391780168322
$100.00 is the the max price on them around here (NE Illinois) and they better be nice. That one looks fairly decent from the pictures but you never know until you have it in your hands.

Check your axle keyways for keys. If thy are there than you have a problem in the rear end.

Re: New member, new to the AA's
I agree. I wouldn't touch the wheels until I have the frames mechanical sorted out. I would also suggest you buy both of Les Andrews books on restoring the Model A. The green and the red book. This is prety good instructions showing how to put the cloth roof on when you get to that point as a bunch ...

I would just sand them down as well to match the drum. I use a belt sander but you may have more control with an orbital.

Re: 1928 AA express left rear fender
To be honest with you the lefts (drivers side) are pretty easy to find. It's the right (passenger side) that is difficult to find. Most of them were crushed while the truck was being backed up. They didn't have mirrors on the right back then.
Good luck with your sale.

Re: Four speed to three speed?
28 & 29's came standard with the 3 speed. My 28 has the three speed and low high. I suspect it is a bolt in. you may want to save that four speed bell housing as that is the hot set up to putting a T-5 in an A. I have seen them sell for $300.00.

Re: Warford auxiallry transmission
Most machine shops bead blast areas like that prior to working on so they can see what is there.

Re: Warford auxiallry transmission
The more I look at that and how it is recessed I suspect that there is a snap ring there that has rusted away. You need to remove all the scales of rust so you can see what you have.
