Re: Zenith and Tillotson carbs .. Which is original on our 28

Hey Harry. I checked my carb and-- just to be different it's a Simmons from Ohio. For the Model A.That sounds like an aftermarket carb doesn't it? Den I must say there is a ton of aftermarket stuff made for these Model A/AA's . I keep reading the discussions you guys have . Awesome how everything a...

Re: Zenith and Tillotson carbs .. Which is original on our 28

The original Zenith is really easy to rebuild if you can find a good core and they are everywhere. Our truck is an Early 28 ( May ) Although our tillot...

Zenith and Tillotson carbs .. Which is original on our 28

Our 28 Pepsi AA has a Tillotson Carb which , after I rebuilt , works great . When I look up parts it seems to me the Zenith came first and is more popular . Would our truck originally have a Zenith or would it have come with a Tillotson? ...

Re: are these original extended running boards on our early 28

Interesting -- The bracket holding the fender is bolted to the frame through the blocks of wood . That was probably done in 1980 when the truck had it's first restoration job .Too bad they did not use the original ( probably went missing ) The chassis came with extended running board it should have ...

Re: I think we have a Canadian Cab ? any info out there?

Don't know for sure about the Canadians, but US AA Stakes were available with rear fenders. They had the long running boards and used the same fenders as the express and had their own brackets and their own fill peices. Luke So Luke and all, is the term Stakebed and Platform bed interchangeable? Wo...

Re: I think we have a Canadian Cab ? any info out there?

Getting back to the truck -Harry did you build the spacers off of the frame to take the pick-up fender brackets? And those look like "A" pick-up rear fenders or were they available on "AA" s as well? Still a great looking truck and the yellow paint makes it a stand-out Den All t...
