Can someone please tell me what radius in on the roof wood headers? I'm making replacement parts for my '28 and am not sure of this detail.
Thanks again.

yup. the '28s had the mirror attached at the visor. Not the window frame. But either will work .

Rear end removal process
Just a quick clarification please. When I go to remove the rear axle on my '28, ( Putting in High speed worm and ring ). I have to take the torque tube loose at the front, by the transmission, correct? No way to get it loose from the rear end because the driveshaft is pined to the worm, Correct? So ...

Re: disintegrated drain plug seat any ideas????
My 2 cents. Remove the pan and have it brazed in properly. Fix it right and it will work fine. A used pan, you can fix too, then install it! May as well fix the one you have.
Easy Band-Aid fixes will, like a Band-Aid, come off / loose with time.

Re: Long mirror arm
Or! A good tool guy could fold one up from 1/8" flat stock. Saw out a blank, big old hammer and vice and bend one to shape. Then you could make it as long as you want. Note also the 28 has the mirror mounted off the visor bolts. Higher so it is over the top of the racks. ( I think )! :id...

Re: Long mirror arm
prototype casting process: I used to teach foundry in a vocational center and there is a way to really simplify the Process for making ' short ' runs of parts. One can use an existing part, fill the drag 1/2 full of sand, put part in and pack it to the parting line. Add your parting power and riser,...
