Wire wheels were used on the early 28-29 AA trucks. The 30-31 trucks, which yours is, had the steel wheels.

Anyone know what model number Pertronix Electronic ignitions system works in a stock model A distributor? I am also looking to buy one of those automatic spark advance gadgets that replaces the lower distributor shaft. Anyone have experience with those?

What is the prefered method for protecting the frame and undercarrage; Paint, Powdercoat or something like POR15?

What are the pluses and minuses of each?

I would think Powdercoat or POR15 would be more durable. I don't plan on being a 'pure-ist'.
