Re: New Member
Hello JPB, The license plate in your picture has the same format as this picture of a California commercial plate that I have added,---- my enhancement shows me yours to be A 5784, it is bent forward around the 8, that is if it is an 8, which distorts the 4 a little, I can see COM clearly. Regards B...

You got that right, most here thought the BS artists and ego trippers would go to Facebook, even the Pied piper doesn't show on either Forum any more.Roadster AA wrote:Post on the BS forum. Not the AA forum!

Re: Need help Identifying Emergency Brake Cross shaft bracke
Brian, Which book says it was also used on the A, I can't find any mention of this. Another strange thing is they show AA-2845-AR as 28-29 and BB-2845(AA-2845) as 28-34, in the pictures they both look like casting not stamped like yours. Bob I cant say I remember where I saw it being the same as th...

Re: Need help Identifying Emergency Brake Cross shaft bracke
Hello Scott, just to add some to Bobs post, Here are some pics of the brackets on my May 29, they are pressed steel, the book says 28-29 AA the same as used on the A, it appears the one on the left is a replacement which is forged? and used from 28-31 on the AA, the bracket on the right is correct f...

Why not try to get those people to post here so we all can enjoy. Hello Aaron. And welcome. Good question, I believe Facebook is OK for those that want to Bull Shit and play, and this board for the more serious restorers. Those that want to post meaningless--useless posts have a place to go, unwant...

I believe the one John is looking for is the pre recall drum, all four wheels used right hand threads, here are pics of the drum that used the smaller A bearing and spindles.

This one here I believe belongs to -- akstraw, a member here, I only had a copy of his Avatar which was obviously to small to post, this was another choice for me as opposed to having a stake bed that I would have liked the most, but as fresh boards and a grain bed came with Maggie I had to see thin...

John,
You didn't say what carb you have, I have seen many Zeniths that have been welded and resurfaced, maybe some has the top half you can buy cheap.
