I'm not sure, but I thought I saw in Snyders a special cable for this issue. Just a thought.

rear window mounting

I need some input on how the rear window is supposed to be installed.

I've got the frame, bolts, glass. Is there anything that seals, or mounts the glass into the frame and rear panel?

Re: High Speed Rear?

I assume you are referring to the worm drive rear end, my bevel gear housing is stamped 7-36 on the lower edge where the two halves are joined in the middle as well as having a tag with the same numbers which are the number of teeth on the pinion and ring gear if I am not mistaken. I recently looke...

Re: High Speed Rear?

So the question: Is high speed rear ends stamped and tagged with the numbers 7-36 and the standard "low speed" rear ends left un stamped? Can someone answer this? Thanks, Jeff My understanding is the Low speed housing has an "A" stamped on it. The high speed has a "B" ...

Re: Front Spindle Problem

If I was in your situation I'd give it a try. What have you got to lose? I'd heat it up first so the metal can "flow" a bit while your bending it, then once in place heat it up again and let it cool slowly. If it breaks off, then all your questions are answered, and you have a clear direct...

Re: WHAT'S UP WITH YOU ALL

I'd like to see High speed rear ring and worm gear sets. Lets go for a lower than stock ratio. 7.25 :1 , 5.25 : 1 , Or better yet 3.75 :1 for around town use. Most AA have the Low range for power when you need it.

Re: Radius Ball

One way to determine what the Dia. is supposed to be would be to purchase the "shim" that is used for adjusting the fit. Or get the Kit for rebuilding and get the rad. from that. One way to rebuild the ball is to weld it up and file it to shape. Remember that there is verry little movement...
