Re: doors won't fit!
I went and measured the right door on my 31 and opening is 28 1/2" at the top and 28" and the bottom. The outside of the door is 29 1/4" at the top and 29 1/8" at the bottom. The door overlaps the body about 3/8" at the top and 3/4" at the bottom. This truck is unrestor...

Sounds like fun. Be sure to get a membership roster from the national clubs
so if you do have trouble you can find some Model A people.

Re: Best Source for Service books and bulletins?
Luke, I don't think that is what Neil meant. I have 32, 37, and 48 parts books
and the 48 is nice to see what later parts fit the AA but I think the 32 and 37 books
cover the AA parts better and have pictures that show the AA parts better.

You use what they call a pill that goes in the brake

Re: poor brakes on our early 28 .
Steel drums use woven linings. Are the tracks and rollers in good condition? The front brake arms should be leaning forward 15 degrees from vertical. If you have a copy of the service bulletins page 202 tells how to adjust the brakes. if you don't have a copy I suggest you get one as there is a ton ...
