From what I read in the service letters truck built after November 1928 had the heavier spindle.

As Farrell said the first thing is to get the drum to turn. If you try to pull it before you get it to turn you are just going to ruin parts. From what I have read the problem is with the 30-3 front fenders,
the 28-29 are a good fit. I have no personal experience with either.

get the title before you restore the truck as the fee is usually based on the value
