as many of you know the car floor plate is too small and will not work so here are the pics i took to make one that is custom for our 30-31 trucks. easy to do with minimal tools have fun!

made my own plate , also the rubber mat for the car works fine , it will stretch a little on the parking brake handle but sits flat to the floor . i did not cut any of the rubber.

so what ever was the problem? any resolution?

dont feel bad about the money bet barrett took a bit of it and the guy who sold it probably didnt get much over 20k

things flatten out when you nail it up so some of that wood will end up being covered also your visor fits over that so you never see it

yep thats the best way to do it ! did that with holes in my frame too helps keep the weld in place so to speak

neil do you have a doc like that for the 82 b ? sounds like it would have interesting info to know

well i have a 31 not 29 but would imagine they are close . from side to side inside top door post to door post =51 inch and from front to back that is to say dash panel ( not instrument gauge ) to rear shell metal 33 inchs


anyone else with a 29?
