Re: Hauling available - here is where I am headed next ....

You do get around some. No moss on a rolling stone and all that rot. 8) I drove a '95 F350 years ago. Man i'm not sure if i ever made it past a gas station!!! I forgot what the road package was called but it sure had a comfy seat for the long hauls. I appreciate the steady diet of pics you post. Kee...

Re: Inline Gas Filter

Curious quote. It appears as though i said more than i really did in Miner Arts post above, where he quoted me. I think Art inserted his comments into my quote which inadvertantly makes it appear as though i said the whole quote. While it's something of a non-issue, it can be quite confusing figurin...

Re: In need of Front Leaf Spring 30 Model AA

Howdy Mike at Eaton Spring. Thanks for putting the offer and info out there for us. It's pretty common for us AA'ers to be addressing spring problems on these ol' rigs. I've completed the rebuild of all three spring packs on my chassis, but certainly would have given your product some consideration ...

Re: Inline Gas Filter

Marty, i've used the glass in-line filters before. They are great for seeing how things are going inside the filter, but one must be very careful as they are prone to leaking at the seals on either end of the glass tube.

Imagine my surprise when i learned the eastern portion of Oregon is basically desert. I used to think the whole state was lush rain forest.

Re: Follow up on lifting 28 cab

modeleh, i too do a lot of work alone and in fact prefer it. Some folks achieve a zen-like state of mind when they get into the shop, turn on the tunes, crack a soda or beer or what-have-ya, and grab a wrench. Speaking for myself, it don't get no better than that (unless i'm hangin' with my kids). :D

Re: Follow up on lifting 28 cab

Clever chris...but as i understand it lowtides "truck was fully assembled. Gear shift, steering column, etc" which would cause you and your friends to have to reach really high. Would have been an amazing feat of strength and dexterity for lowtide working solo, wouldn't ya think?

Re: Follow up on lifting 28 cab

As harry said, well done, and thanks for sharin'. 8) Another handy labor-savin' idea brought to you by the good folks at the best little AA club in town. 8) I'm wondering if after using it, you found the need for it to be 11.5' tall? If 8.5' were tall enough, i could do this in my 9' garage. If i ma...
