I posted a question on the fordbarn site re pressing the worm gear on to the steering shaft. Not easy!!! but there were several really innovative methods guys have devised to do it. If it is part of your project do a search on the fordbarn site for steering shaft...worm gear

I have read and re-read the instructions on installing a new top on my cab. I guess my mind isn't good at understanding written descriptions. I can't "see" where to use the 'hide em' material and where the 'moulding' goes. Can someone post pics of their cab showing the perimeter of the top...

I find there is a repair kit for the threaded end of the shaft (see page 30 of the Mac's catalogue)...I will give it a try and if it doesnt work...sleeve time

Steering shaft and worm gear

I was using a wheel puller to take the steering wheel of the shaft. Disaster struck!! The whole threaded portion at the end of the shaft split and broke off. (maybe I should have left the nut on) Does anyone have a suggestion for repair? I have a second shaft but the worm gear on it is corroded and ...

Does anyone have a set of AA front brake operating pins for sale? The ones that go throught the kingpin. I can only find A ones in the catalogues I have.

When installing new bushings and kingpins in an AA what size reamer should be used on the bushings? The A calls for .812 but aren't the AA pins larger than the A?
