I actually have one, mis-bought for my AA (31).
I believe I got it from Snyders
Well, before I buy from Snyders, are you saying you bought one by accident and not going to use it? Want to sell it?

And there it is. I was not calling it by the right name on the search. Thanks. I will get one ordered.

Steak bed Rear Window See Through Grille ?

I saw this metal grille piece that sections in to the steak bed wood that blocks the rear window. Does anyone knows who carries this for sale? Not sure what the piece is called. Looked through Snyders, Macs, and CW Moss sites but did not find. I am putting a rear view mirror in since my steakbed wil...

Re: Headlights and Horn In-op

Not too far from you. My brother is in Darlington IN, just outside of Crawfordsville. He's down at the shop most every day as he is liquidating a lot of old cars, trucks, parts (Some A and T) . Selling out and heading west to AZ. Has a lot of parts, wheels, hubcaps, etc. that he has accumulated. Some...

Re: Headlights and Horn In-op

Yes sir. Good way to look at it for a restorer. Can examine all the parts better and save time on taking it apart. Would be nice to sell whole as I don't like to part out a nice condition complete AA, but doubt folks pay much torn apart like it is. Probably keep the factory replacement ( no serial n...

Re: Headlights and Horn In-op

Thanks again for tips. Horn running but no sound yet. I know about the adjustment screw, so will try and finish that today. Dug in to the lights a little more. Found on closer inspection all front lamps are burnt out. I pulled two when I first got and they looked good, but looking now with reader gl...

Re: Headlights and Horn In-op

I went through and checked and re-tightened connections. Checked bulbs. Still no lights, horn and also noted tail lights don't work. I have a acquaintance friend that has restored many early 20th century cars, so I will contact him to see if he can lend any help. I will try and get that 600wt gear o...

Re: Headlights and Horn In-op

And I thought I would just get a restored AA and drive it without much hassle. Got to get use to I reckon, and figure out the constant tweaking to keep it going. I will get at it between now and this weekend to see what I can get fixed. I hate electrical worst of all mechanical work as I have the le...

Re: Headlights and Horn In-op

Sorry, I meant to say I just got the AA home this week, and I realize these are "un"-synchronized transmissions.

Headlights and Horn In-op

First I want to say I am new to owning a Model AA. Most of my resto-repair experience has been with early Mustangs, so I am way out of my comfort zone on where to start to diagnose problems with As. I purchased my 29 AA as a older complete restoration driver, and home this week. Starts and appears t...
