Re: Swaying front end
I know the exact problem you are talking aobut, I've been there too. It used to just wear me out driving my truck the way it wondered all over the road, until I replaced my wishbone ball and set my toe-in. I drove it a year and just checked my toe last week, it is still dead on. I love my truck Marty

Re: Fuse Sizes
I ran 14 G wire to all lights and will use 12 G from power to fuse block. I did find a simple conversion chart in the Ford Barn. It shows some conversions from CP to W. At this point, I'm not quite sure where I will pick my power to fuse block from.

Fuse Sizes
OK I give, I searched for a conversion from candlepower to watts and find there is no conversion. I have replaced all my head and tail light wires and want to use fuses in the system. My truck is standard 6 volt. I have been told to use 20 amp fuses. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Marty

A few of them were taking their half out of the center. Great film.

Re: I have lift off!
I really like the photo with the bed up. I used to live up there and have found lots of old vehicles all over the state. Nice job.

Oil and Water
I read someplace yesterday on the internet about non-detergent oil vs. detergent oil. I had always heard the detergent would break free anything old in the engine, which would not be good. I also saw that if your engine doesn’t have an oil filter, use non-detergent and if you have a filter use deter...

Wire Gauge Chart
I have seen a chart showing what gauges of wire to use on our AA's; but just when I need to find it, I can not. Any help with wiring would be great.

If the E15 gas stored over the winter, will Stabil help keep it good?

E15 Blend
I was just reading the Sunday paper about the ethanol blend E15 with up to 15% ethanol. The story goes on and says if your vehicle is older than 2001, do not use it. Anybody know if this blend will work in the AA?

Re: Best Fuel Choice
For the past couple of years, I have been using about 1/2 cup of Marvel Mystery Oil with each tank full, which sure makes my truck run smooth.

Best Fuel Choice
Seems the question has been brought up on which of the 3 available grades of gas the AA should use. Any thoughts or reasons?

Spare Comfort
Thanks to one of our good AA members helping me find a 20” wheel and split ring for my early 28, I now have a spare tire onboard. After driving my truck without one for about 15 years, my comfort zone is up there. I feel more comfortable getting it out to let others see my piece of Ford history. Tha...

Wheelbase Discrepancies
My bumper is closer to my right tire than the left. I thought the right curved mounting bracket was bent. We measured L and R wheelbase and found the right side is about 1 ½” longer. I can only think my radius rods must be different in length. The rear end is solid and at this time I don’t think the...
