If you own an early 1928 stake truck that was converted to the later lugs you still need the 15/16 starting handle to raise and lower the spare tire bracket since the nut that holds the bracket in place cannot be run off, or maybe I'm missing something.

Go to the Library of Congress web site:http://lcweb2.loc.gov/pp/pphome.html. Type in CCC for Civilian Conservation Corp and scroll through. Several covered 1 1/2 trucks. Or you can search by call #LC-USW3-057026-C for a 1934/35 Chevy with a covered body for inspiration.

If you have the pre July 1929 AA truck with rear fenders you can't have a dumping stake body since the fenders are bolted to the body,splash apron and running boards. If you own a short running board AA a dumping stake body is possible. Depending on the make some frame must be lopped off. See Servic...
