AA jack
Does anyone have details on AA jacks and the tools that would have come with the truck. In particular the jack handle?

Re: Pictures of the Inside of a Bevel Gear Drive
I was hoping they made one that replaced coupling shaft like the Warford. I think I will see how it goes driving stock with high speed gears before I take the leap. I’ve been nearly a year trying to get engine done. I have some rusted rivets to replace in frame then I will start on rear end.

Re: Pictures of the Inside of a Bevel Gear Drive
Will your Mitchell replace coupling shaft? Are prices for the Mitchell for a AA comparable to those for an A? I’m interested.

Re: Bevel Gear Rear End V-Bearing Question
I like how the service bulletin details measurements here. They tell you the specs then tell you the measured specs will be different on the splines and last tell you most experienced mechanics do it by feel.

Re: Pictures of the Inside of a Bevel Gear Drive
Thanks a bunch!! This is my next project. I have a spare 6.6 slow gear axle. My truck has a 5.14. The 6.6 is from lower mileage truck. I might end up swapping gear sets? What condition did you find yours in? I hear these axles were pretty bulletproof. Parts available?

Re: New guy with some questions.
I am no expert, considering myself a new guy also. I have learned a lot over the past few months. I bought a $600 AA sight unseen over a year ago at an auction. Basically a rolling chassis with a commercial cowl and remnants of a wood huckster body. Hindsight is 20/20. Now I wish I had waited and fo...

Curtain side top material
I am trying to understand how to build the roof up on a recreated aftermarket body. It was a AA curtain side or huckster style body. I will frame it and cover top with closely laid slats. My question is what material would be correct for top. I read in judging standards for mail trucks that top was ...

Re: 30/31 Ring Gear Question
Not yet but I’m following. I have a 5.14 in my truck but found a lower mileage 6.6 axle I’m thinking about using but obviously want the higher ratio.

Re: ford AA steering stop?
Page 378 in Ford service bulletin for September 1929. The nut should be 1 9/32” long, part #AA-3124.

Re: ford AA steering stop?
Check the nut on king pin lock bolt. It’s supposed to have a long nut that acts as a steering stop. It should be longer than the one for a car.

Re: battery disconnect switch
I have been studying about how/where to mount one and was thinking that the battery terminal one might be the easiest solution. Do you have a mat on your floor board?
