I'd like a shirt or two as well. Of course, I prefer the '28-'29 style.

Re: Wanted: AA speedometer cable grommets
I got an email back from Doug at Sacramento Vintage Ford stating their supplier has them now (AA Truck Speedo Cable Grommets part # AA17266-R). Theirs are listed at $12.95 EACH, so I'm glad I ordered them from a different company. I'll let you know how they work out. They should come in Monday or Tu...

Re: Wanted: AA speedometer cable grommets
Howdy Pyrodork, I'll have to check out the local Ace and see what generic grommets they have. On a side note, the Twin Cities Model A Ford Club has a restoration clinic on the 19th of April from 7:00-9:00pm at Brooklyn Center High School. The next one will be May 17th. Come check it out and meet som...

Wanted: AA speedometer cable grommets
Does anyone know of a source for these grommets for a 1929 AA? Snyders, Sac Vintage, Macs - no one seems to have them. They haven't had them in stock for some time so I may just have to go without them.

Roof install - pneumatic stapler or original tacks?
I'm ready to install my roof fabric and top material and see in Marco's pics that he used mainly a pneumatic stapler for the welt and fabric. Sure seems simpler than tacks but I also don't want to invest a lot in something I probably won't use much again. Any recommendations on an affordable/adequat...

Thanks to Neil for another great newsletter. For all of his knowledge, research and technical know-how, Neil is absolutely irreplaceable to the AA truck club.
When I have the newsletter in my hands, it's hard for me to imagine ever going for an electronic version. I'll always go for the paper copy.

Dave,
You sure have that looking nice, so when are you going to start manufacturing them for the rest of us?

Re: 1929 aa stakebed
Hi Bob,
Check this wiring diagram:
http://www.webjunk.com/modela/wp-conten ... lor2sm.jpg
The positive terminal of the battery is grounded to the frame while the negative terminal is attached to the starter.
Good luck,
Drew

Marty,
You might want to get in touch with Tom Wesenberg. You can probably send him a message through the Fordbarn site where he posts frequently. I would guess if anyone could help you out, it would be him.

What seals between the rear window and the cab?
I'm ready to install the rear window on my 82A cab but don't know if I need to use glass bedding material and/or some type of sealer?
Thanks

Re: locating a flatbed (edit: located a flatbed)
I would check the side of the bed that has been laying on the ground before you offer anything for it. It looks like it could be a real find.
