Spring U bolts

The rear springs on my 29 AA have the U bolts with the nuts at the top , when did they start installing them with the nuts at the bottom , I cannot access the chassis # ( as much as I would like to) , the engine and cab date are May 29 , thanks in advance .

Thanks Bud, I will let you know about the drums, when I was looking the truck over awhile back for needed repairs, the brakes needed work for sure, I did not measure them at time but I was going to put on new drums anyway, until I found out the cast ones won’t fit.
