Interesting. Everything I see shows the window on screw. Standards show two versions, later a little heavier with larger screw. I have two jacks, not sure if either is correct, but they both have windows.

Recently acquired a Warford three speed over/under/direct transmission. Getting ready to disassemble and inspect, clean and repair as required. Anyone with experience with these who can offer any insight?

I would be willing to bet that’s your answer. Mine has a drain plug on bottom and plug above halfway on side and another on shift tower. I would assume the side plug is your oil level top off point. That would correspond to the one on side of4 speed in similar location. Is the one on shift tower to ...

Keith, I have the proper U-joint on input side that fits 4 speed output, unfortunately one of the bushings on the spider is missing. I think the output shaft is same as the A 3 speed output, but I don’t have any A stuff to campare it to. I have a couple leads on u-joints but nothing has arrived yet.
