I end up buying strips from MAR K www.mar-k.com/Catalog/PDF/Catalog/bed_strips. pdf .No holes and you have to cut to lenght. I made a little trim die to make holes square used it in a kick press . Worked OK for 50 holes , I wouldn't want to do thousands of them .

Can anyone tell me the size of the square washer that's used to fasten skid strips in express bed trucks. These are the washers that have one corner bent, need thickness and length and width. I bought Model A pickup bolts and washers but the bolts are 1/4 and AA are 5/16.

Looks good Tom, mine is a little further along but I still havent start it yet. In June I tried to due the sales taxes and title in MA. and as it turns out that maybe the hardest part of the restoration. Going to try reg. it in Vermont and then transfer to MA.
