Yes I did remove the pins in the levers.

I got the drum off, LOL. Took the 6 nuts off, butttt the backing plate doesn't want to come off. I have a 29AA with worm gear rear end. Please help and any answers I will bee thank for. Hope every one is having a great new year.

Are most of the rear AA brakes the same parts used on the A. The shoes are not, but is the rest? Thank You for any information.
