Front mounted toolbox

I hauled 3 tons of crap to the landfill on my Early '30. It did have overload springs in the rear.

My truck has the 1929 style cab and sheet metal with the heavier 1930 front axle and frame with the "Design 3" high speed bevel gear rear axle. Keith You have just described a Early 1930. Ford upgraded the frame and axles but carried over to '29 cab through May 1930. It may have the 1930 ...

Trucks engines are suppose to start with AA. You appear to be lucky enough to possibly have the original engine. If you can check your frame serial number hopefully it's not worn away and you can prove you have a numbers matching truck. Good luck Although there was a period where AA's carried a sin...

I tried to buy some hardware from Fasternal. They wouldn't accept cash and would only sell to registered customers with an account. Screw them.

My 29 has the same one piece tail light/ licence plate bracket as the one in the photo....but the bracket bolts flat to the bottom of the frame with 3 bolts. ....... greg
My Early '30 (May 1930) has the three holes in the frame on both sides.
