Re: bed strips
I got mine in Oklahoma, they do custom cuts. You run into shipping problems with ups if longer than 108 inches or so. Mine were 98 inches at 11.00 a piece. I can get their name, but google will get you there.

Looking for Model AA crank
I was told the other day that the AA uses a different crank than the A. I have a '29 AA CCPU with 82A body style. Does anyone have a spare crank for sale. Till now I have made my own, but now that I have the truck running, I figure I ought to get a proper one. No need for chrome, just a functioning ...

Re: Am I doing something wrong
Guys, to complete this tread, sanded down the rear pads with my belt sander, on the high spots, drum slide in no problem, adjusted wedges and good to go. Thanks again for the advice.

Re: Am I doing something wrong
Guys, Lots of great techniques to solve my problem. It never occurred to me that the brakes and the drums would be different. I have an old timer mechanic local, i want to ask him if he ever reshaped brakes, he will get a kick out of it I am sure. Thanks again for the sage and prudent advice.

Re: Am I doing something wrong
Hi, Yes they are drums and very heavy ones at that. Thanks for the advice on turning them, or better yet not to. So that leaves reshaping, How is that done? Where can I read about it. Thanks

Am I doing something wrong

I can get one on, but the other one is too tight to fit. Any ideas. I have not turned down the rotor, may be out of round. What arfe the limits to h...

Wanted: splash aprons for my 29
Hi, I have a 29 AA with stake body, I have normal running boards, no long ones or rear fenders. So if anyone has some used splash aprons, I am interested. I live in MA. Thanks

Hi, my AA is a 29 with a131.5 wb. I built it up from parts. It still does not run but getting closer. Got a battery today and pushed the starter rod. The engine spins no problem, 6 volt system. The fan spun counter clockwise! Is that right.

Re: 4 speed trans tower
Hi, I was in the same shape. I recommend taking care to take it all apart and be careful with the slide rods, use brass hammer to disengage. If you nick those they will not slide well. I bought a NOS tower from a BB, fits AA, for little dearborn, shipped next day. Put it all back together, and works...
