Hey bob, if ford used the same tower for so long how come I can't find one. Am I just looking in the wrong place? I am willing to repair mine, but I figured I would look for a good one first.

I have seen forks, shifters, reverse rod, etc, but not the cast tower itself. What is wrong with mine is where the pin locks the shifter in place, that is torn out, so the shifter is not fixed. So all i need is the cast tower, everything else is good, shifter forks, springs, ball bearings, cams, rev...

Hi, I need to replace my shift tower on my AA, i have a four speed shift tower with a screw in cup on top. I see where Mac's has one but I think that is for a A and I didn't notice a reverse. Any idea as to where I should be looking. Thanks

I am building my 29 AA from the ground up and have no past experience with these truck. I rebuilt the transmission and see that I need to add 1 pint of fluid. That 1 pint of fluid looks very little for that transmission. I did use the 600W, So is 1 pint the correct amount? Thanks

Hey, I am looking for one as well. I spoke with Bill James the other day and we were wondering if the chevy's of that era had the same reverse button and could we use that. I know that it would not be perfect but it gets you going until you find one of these diamonds in the rough. Neil any thoughts?

Are the head nuts on a 29 AA special or are they standard nuts. I needed a couple and picked some up at the hardware store that seem to be fine, but want to be sure so they don't back out on me. I also heard that I should use washers if I had an aluminum head but how about a standard head? Thanks in...
