I am looking into finding a hobb, but if i cant come up with anything i do have a TT worm that i am going to cut and harden to make a hobb, i will be making the tool post and everything to build the worm gear so hopefully when it is done i should be able to make as many as needed

Im am looking to make a run of the high speed bronze gears, I am in need of a blueprint or deminsions and pitch for the teeth.
would anybody know what the tooth pitch is on a 31 tooth bronze gear is?

that is a TT worm and worm gear, the splines on the worm are different on a TT than an AA

could it possibly be part of the original drive shaft seal?

i might have the shaft, no housing or u joint

so tonight i pulled my AA wormdrive apart and found it to be completly junk! The bronze gear has chunks missing out of it, one tooth is completly gone, 3 cracks and 2 of the bolt holes in it are broken out. somone had shimmed the inside of the diferential with a chunk of metal to tighten up the spid...

been tinkering with this today, and for the gear on the drive shaft that is stamped 5 1/6-1-32x6 i made a driven gear for it. Since the driven gear has 19 teeth i took one from a car that had 19 teeth. I had a junk 6.6-1 slotted driven gear so i turned the gear off the shaft and took it down to .351...
