I had to split my fenders and add two inches so they would'nt rub

I have a 31 service car I had to have the platform manufactued and then I took a 31 wide body fender and had it split then added two inches to the middle so they would fit over the tires

thank you for claifing my thoughts it will never perfect but i wanted to know for my own sake the cowl band was not painted from the factory but was either stainless I have a picture of my truck taken in March of 1931 infront of the delers show room and it is the same band

then why do I get points deducted for not having them along with a plated cowl band at mafca shows

Did the31 service car have a inside mirror and sill plates
