Hello Trevor, Do you have a copy of the green bible?, I looked and found 3 that have that shape 28 thru 37, there are no dimensions listed, there are more in the 28 thru 48 section, best bet is to measure them show bolt hole spacing etc and post them on Fordbarn swap meet, somebody may want them, he...

Re: Auction with Model A parts ,car, AA

If I remember correctly the purpose built hearse (non Ford body) had the Lincoln wheels and different hubs, and a few other changes, see page 15 of the double AAer 2010.

Here is something useful that may answer your question, I thought of fitting a vacuum wiper to my 29, they go along with all the other must do work that makes driving a double A fun,?. Here ...

Here is a link to a post I made on Fordbarn regarding the splash pan bolts that were still on my May 29, it may shed some light on the subject.

Re: Restoration project ford model AA

The number pad looks to rough to have had an old number ground off, the pitting appears the same as the block, the number range is in the late 29s but the truck is a late 30 possibly 31, as it is in Romania could it be a GAZ?.

Re: Need some help identifying rear end.

Hello Dave, I am thinking model TT, if so the ring gear should be narrower than the AA, the carrier bearing appears to be ball bearing, and the thrust bearing looks like the TT axle, I posted a breakdown of the TT axle some time back, I am out of the country and do not have it on this PC. As you may...

Re: Front Axle Stamp

The AA stamp is found on both the car and truck axles and defines the steel quality make up, there can be other markings, it can also be found on other forgings.

Re: Inside the Venturi

Marty,
If you leave the venturi in place you will find the bowl gasket will not fit, if you have to destroy it to remove it, they are reasonably cheap to buy.
