Drew, I think the BB bolts to the bottom of the frame rail not
the side like the AA. The picture is of a BB carrier, I'm going to
straighten the end of the hinge so it will fit my AA LWB.

Drew, It looks like the end of the hinge is bent at 90 degrees
where the bolt holes are, I think the AA is straight to bolt to the
side of the frame.

Went and looked at a trans I have and the side you have up goes
to the trans, no seal is used.

I measured a late '31 I have with no wheels and it was 62".

Page 413 of the service bulletins tell how to set up the bevel gear axle,
it has specs and pictures.

This is the stoplight on my late '31. The parts book lists both the chain(AA-13511) and the finger bracket(AA-13510-B)
for 30-31.

Could you post a picture ? Do you know for sure that it is a
29 or could it be an early 30. Does it have a 3 speed or
4 speed transmission?

I'm assuming you don't have the bolt together front u-joint
on the coupling shaft???

The B crank has larger rod and main bearings.

That u-joint has 10 splines on both ends and I think the one for the 28-E29
has 6 and 10.

Dave, Trucks built before 1936 are exempt from weight fees in CA so you don't
need commercial plates, section 9401 of the vehicle code.
I'm in SO CAL and it takes 30 days to get an appointment at my DMV.
