So: When I turn off my '28 I get a great big "KABOOM" Backfire about 10 secounds after all is stoped. I was actually walking away from the truck when it went off. Any thouhgts as to what is causing this and what to do to fix it?

How dose the welt on the front edge of the door on a 28 AA install? Issue I have is by the windo glass. Instructions say and show removing a metal part. Mine dose not have a removable part there. Any help / advice would be appreciated.

Early ones are the same as A, Latter started to show some changes to strengthen things up.

I put in the Easy steer kit (Teflon cups) and have had no problems. Be sure the balls are round too.

I may be interested in the wheels. I also have a rear axel to get rid of. I think it is a newer style. Wide break drum. Also 4 wheels, duals. KVO Welcome to the forum. could you post pics of what you have? I'd love to post Pix, but can't at this time. (Need to get my computor fixed first).. :cry:

Kim, go back and read what I posted about original radiator specs. If you had a radiator with 3 rows of tubes it was not an original radiator. Maybe that's why it would not cool enough. That would explain why I had issues. They are all gone now with the new three row and fan shroud. Thanks for the ...

I have a the radiator from my 28 AA for sale. I cleaned it with Distilled vinigar and it sprung a leak. Should be able to be fixed. I can ship it in the box my new one came in.

I just replaced the Radiator in my 28 AA. Got the new one from Sniders. My old one was reworked by "East End Radiator" in Holland Mi. They did a good job but I just wasn't getting enough cooling. Then after many cleaning efforts I think I removed all the gunk that was stopping up the holes...
