Re: 1932 BB Truck

Not a whole lot is the same. The complete front axle except the wishbone, front and rear brakes, rear axle ring gear but not the pinion gear,
are the same. The engine can be adapted with a little work, maybe a few other odds and ends.

Rare AA?

What am I missing ??? The ad says "only five know to exist in the USA" looks like just a late 31
short wheel base flat bed.

Re: AA JACKS VERSION 2

Seem kind of hard to tell from the part number what jack they are referring to.
The 1932 parts book shows AA-17080-B changed to BB-17080 and for 1931 only
but the 1937 parts book shows BB-17080 for 28-37. I would assume the earlier
jack was AA-17080-A? Wish I has an earlier parts book.

Re: partns identificatio

Do you have a worm drive or bevel gear rear axle?
The top transmission in the picture is a three speed Warford, the
bottom transmission is a three speed Brown-Lipe.

Re: Help identifying part

I looked in a seal interchange book and the Victor number does not cross to AA-1175A. 49026 is 2.625 ID, 3.881 OD, .468 W
AA-1175A is 2.750 ID, 3.881 OD, .468 W

Re: 1931 Mail Truck now on Ebay

Thanks for posting the additional pictures, it was a big help.
There was one that sold on Ebay a year or so ago in about the the same condition except the body was
complete and had all the hardware, went for $10,000.

Page 386 of the Service Bulletins has five pictures showing what the transmission and the

Do you have a close up picture of the drivers side wiper motor, I've been looking for
one for my mail truck.

Re: AA Four Speed

The Service Bulletins, you do have the Service Bulletins don't you  , says" the distance from the top of the gear shift lever ball to the bottom of the lip on the latch must measure between 4" and 4 1/16". This will insure approximately 1/8" clearance between shifter forks ...
