Spray with penitrating oil, and Tap, Tap, Tap on it to losen. Bit you probably allready knew and have done all that. Only other option is t...

Re: want to buy steering wheel
I have one off my Dec. '28. It is in real rough shape. All the plastic is off of it. Gramps was using it with a stearing wheel cover over it. Yours for the shipping. Or stop by and pick it up.

Re: Rear View Mirror Placement
Macwoods: I can not post pixs as my computor is screewwweedd up. I'll try discribing it. 18 ga. 4" wide aprox. hight is just enough so when the top is tucked up between the wood that holds the top of the vinyl covered trim panel, the bottom just clears the chanel that the bottom tucks into. Be ...

Re: Rear View Mirror Placement
I added an inside mirror to my '28 on a quick removable metal bracket. I took a piece of metal about 4" wide and just long enough so that when I puched it all the way up under the front top wood part the bottom would just clear the bottom where the panel trim tucks in. Mount the mirror to this ...

My '28 closed cab fits in a standard hight overhead door. I know this as when I got it home I drove it right in. And yes I never checked the hight. Got lucky again! Sound like your having a lot of fun, Keep it up.

Starter finish
Can some one give me some dirrection on what finishes are supposed to be on a '28 starter? Engine color, or black, or nothing? The switch also? Black or nothing? I'd like to do it correct for the yr. Is there a listing on line that has this type of Info? Or a Book?

An the new head light socket assembly will not work just out of the pack  If Any one is interested, I'll help to solve your problem. I do not have any part...

FYI Rock Moss Green source
Ford Rock Moss Green is PPG Brand Code 117. In our system, the year is shown as 1929 only; however, your car could well be a year-end roll-over which would still make it the correct paint for the car. This paint can be purchased through a PPG Distributor. The Brand Code is all you need to take to th...

Re: Hidden disk breaks?
I'm OK with being corrected. Happens alot in my life. So 'fitting' the shoes to fit the drum is the key. One of you mentioned not cutting the pad itself, another says to sand it to shape. I can see where cutting into the woven pad could cause problems. Unraveling. So if the drum has been turned, enl...

Re: Hidden disk breaks?
OK ! I'm reading between the lines here. I Need to redo the stock breaks. Mine do not lock up. Lucky I can't go very fast. So when they say "Re Arching the pads" just how is that done? Do you sand down the break lining to the the correct radius, or bend the steel under it to the correct sh...
