DriveLine Collar

My '29 AA has a broken and unusable collar that goes around the belled end of the torque tube and attaches it to the crossmember and rear of the underdrive unit... what is this called so I can start looking for one? Numbers on it are: A-4514-B2 over A34 on one half and A4514 B2 over W2 71 on the oth...

I agree Dave, it is a 29 model and my brain wrote a 28 in the first posts... sorry about that. The gas cap is a screw on type. I checked the rear end ratio by blocking one back wheel and turning the drive shaft with a vise grip.... 3 1/2 turns of the vise grip and the rear wheel made one revolution....

Thanks for the info on the Ford Barn, will be checking that out. The engine number does not match the frame number so that's not a major thing to keep it. The wheels are steel with 6 spokes, not the wire spokes and the hand brake is on the drivers right side. I will see if I can figure out the rear ...

Hi All, I'm new to this forum and new to Model AA restoration so have many questions as I go along. I recently have the time and a place to start work on a 1928 Model AA that belonged to my dad and has sat outside for years. The engine number is a single A so would be out of a car but the frame numb...
