Brake and Clutch pedals

Mike,
if you go to Mac's parts on-line and go to the clutch section on the last page it gives dimensions for the brake and clutch pedal bushings. This is in the car section are they the same as the truck bushings.. OD= .934 / ID= .877... Just checking ... part number B7508..
Thanks Dave....

OK for info sake my idea from above did NOT work..... I had to pull the drum off again and grind a little more off. Then I put my piece of 5/8 plate steel from the puller back on and used my big C clamps and kind of pressed the drum on. It is a little tight but I can move the drum. I guess it will w...

Vicky,
Before you go crazy trying to make parts you should take a trip to see Mike and his friend you might be able to get teh whole assembly cheaper than making one. Just a thought.

OK here is a thought?? I have been doing alot of that with this truck project... If I hop the band on the carrier so it is smaller when I go to engage the e-brake will the springs pop it back on the carrier in the right spot???

Robert,
That would be in the rear hub removal saga from my posting. Something about a BBQ grill under the drum.

Brake liner

OK so I just spent $420 for new liners and have to grind the Emergency liner down and can not get the drum over it. The service shoes are fine but the darn e-brake is killing me... Any thoughts????

Robert,
Welcome to the forum... I guess they must have sprung my band a little when they where putting the new liner on it and I will have to take a little of the tension up by pulling the arm back a little bit when I install it and get ready to hook up the brake rods..
