Does anyone have any idea how many Model AA express trucks and 1 2/2 ton panel trucks are still around?

Re: Dooe handle.
10/4 Jared. I just didn't think it could be made to work for me and at that price I couldn't take a chance. I'll find one eventually...........................maybe.

Re: Dooe handle.
Here, let me help you; I don't have a hundred dollars to throw away on a useless part that can't be repaired. The handle is bent, the detent is obviously rusted/jammed and inoperable and probably can never be made to work. Does that make any sense?

Re: Dooe handle.
Thanks Brian. The handle looks a little rough for that price and doesn't look like a key could be made.

Re: 1930 Model a truck
I pulled the cover off the Warfod and see that the shaft is splined; is this the model T version? I know the shafts on each end of the model T are square.

Re: 1930 Model a truck
TT transmissions had square shafts and this Warford would fit only the AA transmission and drive shaft. It does look different from the 28-29 style but this is because the 28-29 fit the three speed, not the four speed.

Can you put a non-ford bed on a AA chassis and call it an "express"?

Re: Interior pannels
Check out the pictures at this link http://abarnyard.com/temp/82-a/ Bob I didn't see any pictures of the interior panels. Looks like a very nice original truck, what a shame someone "restored it". As far as the interior panels go, they were not covered in vynal but a thin layer of paper (...

Re: Dooe handle.
Now I know what the rear panel truck door handle looks like; does anyone have a picture of the interior door handles? I guess the panel truck doors are different from the regular truck. My '30 door handles turn to open and lock when pushed in the other position.

Re: Seat springs
What's interesting is that the bead-welting is located below the top edge of the seat. I started re-upholstering my seat using the old patterns and screwed up the first one by not overlapping the material where the cover follows the curve of the front edge. I've seen enough original seats to know th...

Thanks Neil. Are these being reproduced or do you know where one would find one?
