Re: Ever heard of???
My uncle has an "A" with a frame extension, but it had some kind of wood bed on it. I have never seen the bed, but I have seen the truck but haven't ever really taken a close look at it.

I would have to say that they won't work. Those are for the Model T style rims.

Re: Front end tie rod.
Yes, the the bigger tie rod was used on the AA and BB trucks up until 34 or 35. The running boards were originally steel, not sure why they would've been changed.

Re: Axle widths?
I think it would depend on the hubs that you have. I think I remember reading something about 2 different kinds of rear hubs in the service bulletins, but don't quote me on that one.

Re: AA and BB rearends?
I think about all that is interchangeable are bearings and maybe the spider gears? Driveshafts aren't the same.

Re: AA and BB rearends?
A BB rear end will not fit in an AA. The wheels will work up to '34 when Ford went to the floating rear end.

It would be right where the sediment bowl should be ( where your gas line comes through the firewall).

I would say that $75 isn't bad.

Re: Valve stems
I'm thinking (just my opinion) that the valve stems should face out when placed on the front. That way they face out in the inside duals and the outer dual wouldn't be too bad to fill with a dual head air chuck.
