end gap on rings

heres a look at what was on my truck . that old guy would smoke believe me . not sure what the story was , pistons are 070 . so i bought some .080 size rings and was able to fit them trimming the ends just a hair to get the endgap . pistons went back in a little tight but run just fine after seating...

looks like it is connected rt side of torque tube near the large crossmember see the cable going thru the crossmember??

not too bad just need to lift it about 6 inc and remove the splash apron on drvrs side the number is stamped on top of the frame. carriage bolts go through the cab 2 in rear under the cab seat 2 in front of the seat and two under the subrails you can access through the engine compartment or remove f...

hey there joitall nice truck , just a thought about the crack in the block , keep in mind it is cast metal and trying to weld it may cause it to expand or fracture further , second thing is this is the waterjacket part of the block so it really does not have any stress on it so its not needing to be...

heres some handy drawings for the 30-31 measurment on my 31 is apprx 74.5 inches from the ground to the top of the rear of the cab on an irregular surface so give or take .5 in

my 31 stakebed is 6ft 9 inch wide and 17ft 5 inch bumper to end of truck bed as it sits i have aprx 4inches between cab back and front of the bed boards i thank it should be 2 inches closer but it keeps things from mashing the cab back as i do use the truck .
