Despite work conflicts, I was able to peruse the swap meet on Monday over an exrtended lunch and I had Friday off, so I finally was able to bring my truck that day.

Neil, Please help educate me. First, I see that the meet is at the EAA grounds in Oshkosh June 11-15th. I also see it costs $98 to register so I am hesitating. Do I need to be a member just to Attend? Even if I don't take my truck I sure would like to see all those vehicles. Is membership in your AA...

Mine was in '76 without a muffler. What a beautiful roar!

This is the one that fits the 2-Speed used in '28 and '29. Not the 6-bolt that fit the 4-speed.

For what its worth to anyone, I use an acronym. STACK UP. Spark lever, Throttle lever, Adjust carb, Choke out, Key on, Uncouple gearshift, Petroleum on. You need to do seven things when you jump in to start a Model A and this helps me to not forget something simple, like the fuel shut-off. Good Luck!

This may not be fancy, but I put a short piece of tube to act as a stand pipe into the outlet inside the tank. The gasoline flows over the top of the tube and leaves the rust behind. I went from nearly constant plug ups to not one in the last 15 years.
