i have found output and input shaft bearings. i hate to re use the old snap rings. anyone have any leads. one is 2.5 od and the other is 2-1/8 inch od. these are the outer snap rings. thanks in advance, kevin in ct

i would just re torque the head gasket. many of the gaskets say that this must be done. who knows the car could be lactose intolerant and then you could have even bigger problems. strange liquids could start coming out any end and horrible burping through the carb. hope this helps.

hey bob, thanks again for the info. in your opinion what works well to seal the two cups or discs that cover the u joints. do you know of a source for this gasket or was it just felt sandwiched in between. it almost looks like there is a groove for a round sealing ring. thanks again, kevin
