Re: door handle question

no cutting, it looks perfect. it is actually more like 1-1/2 plus short. i am confused? what other application would take this with a shorter shaft?

Re: head lamp conduit tech. question

thank you for info. i interpreted this as my truck had black conduit. i referenced this quote to a vendor in CO and he referenced his JS book and said i read it wrong? so i guess my idea that black was used is wrong. any other ideas from people? the vendor in CO is well read on the topic, he said 28...

i have a 31 model a 2 door sedan. new radiator. i loose some coolant from steaming. not boiling. if i go 100 miles at 40-45 i loose about a gallon. is this excessive? maybe timing is not advanced enough? might be running a bit hot. any ideas. local drive short distance not a problem. just long runs ...

Re: cab sheet metal install on 28 AA

i also should have mentioned: the wrap around bracket screws into the top cab wood. this is the area above rear window. the sheet metal seems to snap in UNDER the bracket. i see half moon notches in sheetmetal for each wood screw head holding in bracket. it seems that the sheetmetal above window wou...

Re: window garnish trim pick up cab

i still have one more question. if you shut either side door, you will notice it butts up to a small lip about 3/16". this is the edge that i speak of. does your moulding butt up to the edge or come over it and then be peaned over. i have seen both. hope you can visualize. thanks again, kevin

Re: window garnish trim pick up cab

so just to be sure, you could remove your trim piece by removing 2 screws. it is not formed, peaned over or bent over the little raised edge in the side door opening? thanks again, please inform. kevin

Re: window garnish trim pick up cab

that is the part. the edge of it that lays next to the door is the edge in question. some butt up to the edge in the door frame. some ride over the door edge and are peaned over 1/8 inch. i have seen both. which is correct? any ideas or photos of your cabs?
