Every thing that Luke said, PLUS there is a Dipper Tray in your oil pan that can be removed to get at all the sludge in the bottom. It snaps into place and might be a bit difficult to remove.

It's interesting that the truck ran when you parked it, but now the dist. shaft doesn't turn. After 40 years of storage the only stuck valves on our truck were in the open position, but the intake and exhaust manifolds were stuffed with acorns.

I agree with Neil. I am running an AA shifter housing on my 32 transmission. It works fine.

Luke, That looks like perfect justification for you to get a new truck and trailer.

As far as I know all 32 front fenders are the same, unless you have the indent for a spare tire. Also 32 front fenders are different than other years.

Welcome Dave, you came to the right place. Your truck sounds like it could have been used to dump stone in a trench, as in pipeline or highway construction. Pictures would be great.

Bill, I think Luke is right. I have done a lot of the same things to my truck that you did to yours. I know how much time it took, and I have have an idea of what it cost. I think that is a good truck for the right person. As a friend of mine would say "there's an ass for every seat" :roll...

If you can get your hands on a puller like this, do it. I tried several different pullers with no luck, this baby popped it right off. There are no jacks, threaded rod, or steel plates to deal with. The handle is made to be beaten with a sledge hammer. I borrowed this one from a fellow AAer who told...

Chris, I have been told that a 32 BB frame is the same as a late 31. Don't know if it's true, but there is one listed here and its in CA.
