Re: Turn Signals Suggestions

Might be something in the Agricultural / Industrial equipment parts supply. Rework something from flea market find. Change to 6 volt bulbs in the ones you are considering. Concealed 12v motorcycle or garden tractor battery, as it would be short duration use. - Great truck & good luck.

Re: starter was cranking strong, now barely at all!

My rig sits idle for long times, and the clutch plate sticks to the flywheel. I put it in third or fourth gear and rock it fore and aft till it breaks loose. I've read that spraying some WD-40 on the disc helps prevents this situation.

Farrell: That is a beautiful job. I posted asking for interior shots before I scrolled down to this post. Keep up the great work and very best wishes.

Thank you Neil for the reply, but I still don't understand all I know about it... I can't be the only one that has an AA worm drive marked TT ...? Have a great new year.

Crosscut: I have an AA worm drive that has "TT" embossed on the left housing. Neil says these are early '28. and have the TT gear ratio.

Re: wheel interchange from 28-29 to 30-31?

Hello M37: Is there a mfg tag on that dump box. It looks much like the construction of one that was on a '47 Chev pick-up that my father had in late '50s. His was smaller of course, and way outlived the truck. It was put on a trailer frame and is still in use today. I think the mfg was "Convert...

Packrat: The photos are of two different rear ends right ? One is AA and the second is TT. Thanks for sharing, and they certainly are great finds. Best of luck ..

Re: AA Body Paint Color Choices

You might try Marco's Barnyard" He used to have a feature that would show different colors, but it was a photo of his '31 roadster. It may have been expanded to include trucks or discontinued all together - I don't know... Good luck

Re: 4-Speed Pressure Plate and Clutch Disk

Larger diameter clutch disc and heavier springs in the pressure plate. I think the truck clutch springs have dabs of yellow paint on those springs.
