so the AA torque tube has some angle off of the short shaft.so the needles will rotate.then this brings us to a matter lube.now if you take the seals off the bearing cups and keep the bell/clam shells packed with grease all should work?or do like they do with modern joints and use synthetic grease.e...

after studying the old and new ujoints I have came to the conclusion of using and old cross and modern needle bearing cups.Because there has to be a better way than hunting old AA Ujoints!and there is a reason that they went to needle bearings and are still using them.Now has someone else done this ...

they made a Ujoint that went on the rear of the tranny hard to find from what i hear.same spline but has a flange with the yoke bolted to it.the other part looks like normal Ujoint that goes on the drive shaft. i'm in the process of fitting a mithchel O.D. right behind the 4 speed.and trying to do i...

it was alot of time and work but it all paid off about 6:00pm tonite.the new egnine fired right off and didn't miss alick.tweeked the B carb just a bit and man it really PURRRRRRRRRRS .Now for the overdrive install.

thanks for the reply. i guess more info would help :? the only one i have is form the coupling shaft to the drive shaft.next question is what is the name of the company that is making the u-joints for the A's ? and would/could they make some for AAs? or is the attitude the same as when i got the O.D...
