Thanks Neil. I guess I was incorrectly told that the early 1930 AA shells were thicker to make up for the 4 core radiator.

As I said in the beginning. Take it to a welder and have a nut welded onto the stud. EZ Outs break more often than they work. A compentent welder can build up the short stud to the top of the block and then weld the nut on to it.

I take mine to a friend who is a whiz with a heli ark welder. He carefully welds a blob on top untill he can weld a nut on it. Then you put a wrench on the nut and remove the broken stud.

I had one of those on my A many years ago. A guy stole my truck and I was lucky enought to get it back. But that pump was gone. I had never repacked it nor did it leak in the 16 years that I had it. I have no idea who made it as it was on my A when I bought it back in '61

Serial number is a May 1931 production. Front crossmember is cherry. Has all the brake rods ETC.. Front spring is missing a couple of leaves. Has the spare tire holder under rear of frame. No steering column. Front and rear end are removed so it can be hauled in a truck if ya don't have a trailer. C...

Brake drums for Ambulance/Funeral car wanted
